Two Odias Killed in Nepal Road Mishap

Bhubaneswar; In a tragic incident, at least two persons from Odisha have been  killed after a bus carrying Indian pilgrims was hit by a truck at Paurai forest area along the East-West Highway in Rautahat district in Nepal on Monday midnight.

The deceased were identified as Charan Biswal of Malipada and Bijay Jena of Jamuna area in Khurda district. Six other persons from the State have also sustained injuries.

According to reports , a group of 60 people from Pipili, Delanga and Jatni area had gone to Nepal on June 6. The mishap occurred when a speeding truck hit the bus carrying the pilgrims near Rauthat.
