Bhubaneswar: It seems that the Bharatiya Janta Party has started countdown for its last days at the centre. The BJP is now in a catch 22 situation from where it is very difficult to overcome. Hence, in the last few days we have seen a different tone of its leaders. When it comes to appease the regional leaders, the BJP is becoming somewhat soft. Party President Amit Shah today praised Odisha Government for its governance and peacefulness in the state. While speaking at a press meet he cited the example of Odisha to show that there are states in India where there is no violence.
Amit Shah’s comments come at a time when the political state of affairs in India is at the boiling point. According to political pundits, Amit Shah better knows that the BJP is playing a losing game and will not win enough seats to form the next government. And this has forced the Party President to change his tone to appease the regional parties who can play a crucial role at the center. Better late than never, the BJP has at last agreed that the Odisha Government is better than others. During his previous visits to Odisha for election campaigning, Amit Shah compared the BJD led government as a burnt transformer. But the fact is the same transformer is a tested one and has enough power to transform the state into a more developed and resilient one. The world has witnessed the Odisha government’s effectiveness in tackling disasters of high magnitude and the state now can boast as the transformer of the nation as a whole.
