Ganjam District Admin Donates Rs 39 Lakh to CMRF for Rebuilding Fani-Ravaged Odisha

Berhampur: The Ganjam District administration once again came forward generously with financial contribution for rebuilding the cyclone Fani-ravaged Odisha.

The employees of all government departments in Ganjam have voluntarily contributed towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the restoration work in the cyclone-affected areas in the State.
PD of DUDA, Ganjam District Sabysachi Hota and APD Debabrata Sahoo handed over a cheque bearing Rs 39 lakh to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat in Bhubaneswar today.

The contributions came from all government offices in the district, said Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange, who had earlier appealed to all to join hands with the State Government in restoration work in the aftermath of the natural disaster.
The district administration has so far donated Rs 71 lakh from contributions from government employees and is still receiving contributions, he added.

The Collector also thanked the employees for their contributions.

Earlier, the district administration had donated Rs 32 lakh towards the CMRF for the relief and restoration work.

The Chief Minister thanked the Ganjam administration for extending its supports to the government in rebuilding the State.
