Puri: BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today held a massive roadshow here to garner support for his party in the simultaneous elections in the Puri parliamentary constituency.
Amid marathon campaign, the Odisha CM visited the Jagannath temple and offered prayers seeking blessings of the Trinity.
Naveen reached the pilgrim city after conducting a mega roadshow from Satapada in Brahmagiri assembly constituency to Puri town.
Thousands of people, including enthusiastic BJD supporters gathered on both sides of the streets despite the scorching heat, jostled for a glimpse of Naveen and greeted the Chief Minister.
The BJD chief reciprocated by waving his hand at them throughout the roadshow, which covered major areas in the Puri Parliamentary constituency.
Humbled to see such overwhelming support during #Bhubaneswar road show. The massive support from all our family members bolsters our fight against continuous neglect of Odisha by Central Govt. #VoteForBJDTwicehttps://t.co/qL887echIR— Naveen Patnaik (@Naveen_Odisha) April 20, 2019
