BJP Conspired to Sell Chilika: Naveen

Will Serve Odisha Till My Last Breath: Naveen

Chilika is our mother and the pride of Odisha: Naveen

Chilika: Launching his marathon poll campaign in Puri Lok Sabha constituency, Biju Janata Dal supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reiterated that he will serve the people of Odisha till his last breath.

“I will serve Odisha till my last breath”, the four-time Chief Minister spoke to the people at a massive election rally at Banapur in Chilika assembly constituency today.

“Chilika is our mother and the pride of Odisha. It is the lifeline and livelihood of thousands of fishermen”, Naveen said.

Coming down heavily on the Centre, the BJD supremo said that the BJP had conspired to sell Chilika putting livelihood of fishermen in risk.

But the BJD government did not allow it to happen, Naveen added.

Explaining that the mothers can bring real ‘double engine’ growth, Naveen said that his government is always committed towards women empowerment.

The CM also reiterated that the BJD government will provide jobs worth Rs 5,000 crore annually to women associated with Mission Shakti after his government retains power for the fifth consecutive term.

Naveen also said that the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) assistance amount would be raised from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 10 lakh for women.

Earlier today, addressing a rally in Ranpur assembly constituency under Puri Lok Sabha seat in Nayagarh District, the BJD president said that the KALIA scheme has already benefited 40 lakh farmers in the State.

The BJP has conspired to stop disbursement of financial assistance to farmers under the scheme midway, he alleged.

Not a single farmer will be deprived of getting the financial assistance under the scheme, Naveen assured.

All the beneficiaries will get their due on the first day of his government taking oath of the office after winning the election, he promised.

The BJD supremo will lead a roadshow from Satapada in Brahmagiri block to Puri town.

The Chief Minister will visit the Jagannath temple for a darshan of the deities.

After the darshan, he will begin a road show from Marichikot Chhak along the Bada Danda (Grand Road) and address a public meeting there.
In the evening, he will conduct a road show from Puri to Bhubaneswar.
